Today I have another like-minded woman on with me, Dr. Angela Gala. She and I met through a brand licensing group we are both part of called menopause expert. Like myself, Angela has a desire to create more awareness, conversation and education around menopause. We have a shared passion to remind women they aren’t alone.

With all the information we’re given about puberty and pregnancy, there’s a real lack of education about menopause. Angela and I seek to change that because with more awareness you can better prepare yourself. Knowing how to prepare yourself for menopause can help lesson the symptoms or bring more understanding so you don’t feel like you’re losing your mind when you start going through it!

Born in Cuba now living in Houston, Angela earned her medical degree over 28 years ago at Northwestern State Medical University in Russia. Her focus was on holistic health and it brought her all over the world.  After a long and fruitful, academic and scientific career, she decided to give a fresh start to her career as a certified health and life coach with the holistic approach to health care and health promotion.

She’s passionate about helping women who feel lost in midlife crisis, regain their energy and vitality as they create the next chapter of their lives. If you want to connect with her and be part of some of the amazing work she’s doing, be sure to go to her website AND check out her facebook pages The Fabulous Women Network and Dr. Gala Health Coaching LLC. If you’re looking to connect with another menopause expert and find more support in this transition of life check her out!

p.s. the invitation is always there for you to join me in the Balance Program, see you there!

And the mainstream wellness advice I was following was not for women my age but for women years younger. I also realized very quickly that there is no one formula that works for all women. We are all different and need a customized approach. This aha moment was the first step to my transformation…
