Well, it is that time of the year when it starts out quite chilly but as the day goes on it gets warmer. So, how do you dress for spring weather?
I will be honest it has taken me a while to get this right. It should be so easy, just common sense. However, I have just recently really started doing this.
Dressing in layers is the key to dress for spring weather. It is also helpful when I am traveling.
First Layer For Spring Weather
The first layer is the basic layer that I will end up in as the day warms up. I always start with this layer since I will probably spend more time in this outfit.
When it starts getting a little warmer I can’t wait to add some color when I am dressing. This tank is literally my favorite tank. I had to buy it in every color that it came in. It will probably be the tank you will see me in most this spring and summer.
Second Layer For Spring Weather
The next layer is a cotton sweater that ties the first and the third layer together. This sweater is by one of my favorite brands, AYR, All Year Round. What a perfect name. They design seasonless essentials for everyday life. I have several pieces from AYR and I love every one of them.
Third Layer For Spring Weather
The third layer is one of my 3 Must-Have’s For Your Spring Wardrobe, the army jacket. This jacket I got a few years ago from Gus Mayer, here is one that is similar.
Pulling It All Together
To pull this outfit all together I added this scarf that I got last year. I love scarfs for an accessory to pull an outfit together. It just adds a finishing touch to any outfit.
