The Wellness Trends of 2022 I’m Excited About

I was recently listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Be Well, and this particular episode was one I wanted share with all of you. Kate Spies, the general manager of Well + Good, was on the show revealing the wellness trends for 2022 and the go-to brands to help you live your best life. There were 2 trends I wanted to share thoughts on because they are near to my heart.

The first trend: non-alcoholic spirits.

Mocktails are taking over bar carts and drink menus. I’ve had many episodes with my friend, Jenn from Sober Sis about the health benefits of cutting out alcohol. Those episodes are linked below if you want to learn more. For the past two and a half years I’ve been alcohol free and I’m sharing how this decision has impacted my health. I’m thrilled this is becoming more of a trend!

Another trend Well + Good mentioned: menopause.

With over a billion people soon to experience menopause, it’s going to be a topic we hear a lot more about. We don’t have to suffer in silence anymore when it comes to menopause. Amen to that! Well + Good writes, “Entering menopause, which is a biological inevitability for anyone who menstruates, is largely not only ignored, but also stigmatized. But in 2022 and onward, thanks to product launches, new devoted health-care resources, and a focus on medical education and access, we can expect the shroud of silence that’s long covered this phase of life to be removed.”
