Finding a New Path in 2021

On this episode we’re welcoming Juanina Kocher. She is a yoga teacher, holistic health coach, and creator of Flex and Flow Wellness, launching on January 27th. Flex and Flow is a wellness website that offers subscription-based yoga, breath work, and meditation, as well as health coaching services and recipes. Join us as we discuss finding a new path in 2021.

Juanina’s recipes are short and sweet, and so are most of the subscription services she offers. Her focus is on accessibility and wellness for all. When committing to a health journey, there is often an all-or-nothing mentality that goes with it. This mentality can be limiting  your progress.

Having experience in the restaurant industry, this eventually resulted in Juanina’s career in food public relations. However, with all of the changes to the restaurant industry because of the pandemic, she would eventually lose her main source of income. It was important for her to be able to pivot, so she made the natural transition into health coaching and virtual yoga teaching.

While last year was incredibly difficult, there was beauty in 2020: many of us took the time to reflect on what’s important and finding a new path in 2021.  As a result, lots of people decided to focus more on their health and wellness. For Juanina, it’s the small daily habits that supports her health and immune function the most.

While Flex and Flow hasn’t launched just yet, the website is live so feel free to check it out. There is more to come over the next few weeks, so stay tuned on Flex and Flow’s website and Instagram for more.

And the mainstream wellness advice I was following was not for women my age but for women years younger. I also realized very quickly that there is no one formula that works for all women. We are all different and need a customized approach. This aha moment was the first step to my transformation…
