Working Smarter Not Harder At Work

There are so many distractions that can make us feel like we are spinning our wheels.  I have found I can get distracted by emails, social media, and phone calls when I should be working on other aspects of my business.

First, do you have a space?  Check out this post on my space.

One of the best ways I have found is time blocking.  Read here to find out more about time blocking. Time Blocking can increase your productivity by 150%.  It also can help you focus on where you need to spend your time.

Consistency is the key to create the habits that will help you work smarter not harder. We can apply this to so many aspects of our life.

Most days I like to exercise first thing in the morning.  I find that if I don’t get it in first thing then I might not be able to squeeze it in my day.

I like to schedule all of my meetings or lunch appointments in one or two days.  Those days are also good for me to run errands.

Then I can block out the time to focus on writing my blog posts, social media, emails, and anything else I may be working on.

A typical week for me would look like this:
