Last week I decided I wanted to add a low-carb smoothie to my daily routine. I feel like sometimes I am not getting enough macronutrients doing my intermittent fasting.
I went straight to my Pinterest Low Carb Board and found a low-carb smoothie. At first, it didn’t really appeal to me when I read the ingredients and saw the color. But I decided to try it anyway. I am so glad I did. This smoothie was one of the best smoothies I have ever had.
It was easy to make and I already had all the ingredients. I even made it the next day and changed it up a little.
Ingredients for The Low-Carb Smoothie
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/2 cup Spinach
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk (sugar-free)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. MCT oil
- 2 scoops of Organic Bone Broth Collagen
- 5 drops of Liquid Stevia
- 2 ice cups
- Water to fill line
Place all the ingredients in a Nutri Bullet and blend. If you want more smoothie recipes grab My 5 Favorite Smoothies by clicking here.
The following day I added Powdered Peanut Butter and it was even better.
Once you add the Organic Bone Broth Collagen and the Powdered Peanut Butter it is close to 600 calories so I would use this as a meal replacement.
