We can suffer from hormonal imbalance at any age. Because of my age, I have been asked by some of my friends about menopause and hormonal imbalance. Luckily, I haven’t gone through menopause, however: I have had some hormone imbalances.
I suffered from being tired, weight gain, and low libido. With some research and help from some friends, I have been able to get my hormones back into balance.
Three Things You Can Do To Balance Your Hormones
There are three things you can do today to balance your hormones without medication.
- Exercise – All exercise is good for you and will help balance your hormones. There are 3 specific yoga poses that you should consider doing. Check out this post, “The Best Yoga Poses To Balance Out-Of-Whack Hormones.”
- Reduce Stress – Self-care is a great way to reduce stress. Check out this post and this one for ideas. Stress isn’t just about your head. It can be related to toxins we are exposed to, our diet, and our lifestyle. By changing your diet and lifestyle you can reduce stress. - Get enough sleep – Check out this post I wrote about getting enough sleep.
How I Got My Hormones Back In Balance
I changed my eating habits and lost 10 lbs which helped me get my hormones back into balance. You can read about it here and here. I also added some supplements to reduce the stress on my body and help with my sleep. One of the biggest differences for me has been adding yoga to my life.
