My Family’s Favorite Chili Recipe

Well, I think I have perfected my chili recipe. After the reorganization of my kitchen (check out the post), I discovered I had several (over 7) cans of chili beans.  Needless to say, I have been making a lot of Chili lately.  The good news is I have now found my families favorite chili beans recipe.

There are so many great recipes out there for chili and I have tried several but this one was our favorite chili recipe that I have been making since my boys were young. It was the recipe on the back of the Bush’s Chili Beans can.

In Search Of The Best Chili Recipe

As my boys grew up and their tastes broadened a bit they still preferred this recipe.  My husband loves it too, so that is a big win, but with all these chili beans I got tired of the same old recipe so I decided to google “how to make chili” and “chili recipes”.  You can imagine all of the recipes that came up.  These days you can google anything.

After looking over several recipes and trying some along the way I came up with the Best Chili Recipe! I have made it twice and now I have to go shopping for more chili beans because I have finally used them all.  This recipe is the all-time winner for my family.

I actually made the chili early in the day and warmed it back up that night.  It is great to serve with grated cheese, sour cream, and avocado. My chips of choice are the Siete Grain Free Tortilla Chips, Lime flavor.
